If you love sushi then you must go and see Kevin and Gumba. You not only have the best sushi in town, you also get a pleasant atmosphere. Kevin is one of the best sushi chefs there. We love Samurai Sushi.

We drive past Mikuni's to go to Samurai sushi. If you want to be treated right request Justin for a table or sit at the bar and have Steve make you a tasty cocktail and serve you great sushi. If you are a regular you are definitely treated right. If something does not go well ask to speak to the owners and they will make it right.

My friend and I meet here as often as possible. Justin is their best server and always willing to recommend something new! I have eaten at most of the sushi places in the area, and Samuri is in the top 2. (Samuri and Makuni's are tied, they each have different styles it just depends on what you are in the mood for.) Their salad dressing is to die for! I would say that 98% of the time, I have had excellent service and food! Parking is an issue only during their busiest times.

I have never written an online review for a restaurant but this sushi compelled me to do it. From the outside the restaurant doesnt look like anything special, but the atmosphere inside was very appealing, family friendly, helpful staff, and the food was amazing. When I go back to Sacramento I will definitely make sure to stop by again.

This place is has some really fresh quality fish. Prices are reasonable and the waitstaff is super friendly. People who really know the quality of their fish come to Samurai. That comment below me is obviously written by an novice sushi eater, because if you want to order sushi without sauce then you should order a plain maki roll. I definately reccomend this place.
